PORTRAIT FAQ

How do I book my portrait session?
Just message me through the contact form, and we’ll get started right away creating your perfect portrait session. Make sure you contact me well ahead of time so that you get the time slot you want.

Where will my photos be taken?
Anywhere in the greater Seattle area that you want! If you don’t have a place in mind, we can brainstorm some great locations together.

What should I wear to my shoot?
I recommend bringing at least one casual look and one dressier (like if you were going to church, an interview or a family dinner) look so that you’ll have options. It’s also fun to bring letterman’s jackets, prom dresses, sports jerseys, or anything else! Wear something that makes you happy, and it will show in your photographs.

Can I bring my skateboard?
Sure! I love it when people bring props to their sessions. If you are passionate about something, you should show it! Musical instruments, sports equipment, even a furry friend, let me know about it and we can make it a part of your shoot.

How do I order prints?
In your online gallery the proofs will be numbered, so it’s easy to order prints! You just have to tell me which sizes and how many you want of each image you'd like to purchase.

How and when do I pay?
I accept check, cash, and credit card via PayPal (a 3% convenience fee is applied when using a card). 50% of your sitting fee is due when you make your booking as a non-refundable deposit to reserve your date, and the remaining 50% is due the day of your session. The print total is due upon delivery of your prints and/or files.

I need my photo sent to my yearbook, can you do that?
Absolutely! Just tell me your Yearbook Coordinator’s name, email, and which photo you’d like to be in the yearbook and I’ll have a high resolution file sent over. Make sure you know your yearbook deadlines, as well as any rules your yearbook has for the photos.
